Our guides are created on the road
Hi, we’re Andrè and Lara. We set off from the Dolomites and over the past few years we have backpacked around Asia for a year, lived and worked in Australia for a year, and travelled across New Zealand by van.
On this blog you’ll only find places we have actually visited. We share itineraries, costs, transport, mistakes and information we wish we had known before leaving.
The number is just a reference: we don’t count layovers or places we simply passed through. For us, visiting a country means staying long enough to get to know it and share it honestly.
Everything we save before and during a trip
Before leaving, we spend a lot of time looking through maps and blogs, researching parking, hikes, places to eat and things to see. We started organizing all this work and turning it into more complete maps that can be useful to other travellers too.

For our Hokkaido road trip, we collected 151 places: sights, hikes, onsen, parking spots, campsites, places to eat and plenty of useful stops along the way.
We brought them together in an interactive map, accompanied by a short PDF guide with three sample itineraries for 7, 14 and 21 days.
